BUCKET-BHATH How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BUCKET-BHATH (Plain Savoury Rice for a journey) Recipe Fry in some ghee a little piece (about 1 in). of cinnamon, a pinch of haldi and 3-4 cloves. Add the rice and dal washed and cloth-drained dry. Add to this any bits of vegetables, peas, or tender cabbage, etc., about ½ cup is sufficient. Cook in the normal way, adding about 3 ½ cups of boiling water and salt and green chillies cut lengthwise. Variations (a) Omit cloves and cinnamon and make it plain.
